When someone has an experience that changes him or her for the better forever, such as from a teacher or romance, this is of permanence, of his or her spirit.

Art and Permanence

When a person is changed permanently for the better, for example the person being taught by a teacher that makes his or her life permanently better, better forever just having known someone, what has changed is the spirit of the person. This permanence, is what I understand as my personal immaterial spirit.
