Cadmium Ancient Powder

Cadmium red is a bright red oil paint. Cadmium yellow and cadmium orange are also bright oil paints. Oil paint is pre industrial. Before they are mixed with oil, pigment powders are made from sources found in the environment.

I wore white cotton gloves when painting with these oil paints.

Cadmium is a health concern. I knew that. Disposing of oil paint is a local government issue, too.
